I finally have the full keys to the Floorguard blog and social media presences.
I met with Floorguard founder/owner Gus Schuberth yesterday and asked if I could just go crazy with this stuff now that the new site was just about completed.
He didn’t seem so sure about that, but then I told him I’d be putting pictures of roller skates up on the blog.
Frankly, I think I confused him so much with that statement he just wanted me out of the office. So I left.
Truth be told, the whole reason I love working with Floorguard on this blog (and on Twitter) is because the work they do is amazing, and before I was connected with the company, I had no idea such a thing existed.
I’m not sure how I thought places like the United Center got such spiffy flooring – I guess I just never thought about it. (More on the United Center another day.)
Anyway, I sent my mom a link to the main Floorguard site, and she all but declared she would’ve been our number one customer when I was a kid. She too was ignorant of such a business.
